RRB-->distorted amp?

Postby Johnson » Thu Dec 17, 2009 10:38 am

I am looking for a boost for solos/lead in a band/live setting. I would be boosting the tone from my amp which would be set at a saturated high gain tone (Modern rock tones, but not crazy "we sacrifice goats on stage" high gain tones :wink: ). My concern with the RRB would be that RRB + High Gain might = squeely/noisey. I'm looking for a volume boost, increase in sustain, and increased controllable harmonic feedback during solos/leads. So is the RRB for me, or should I be hunting for a different boost?

Yes 8)

Its really tasty into the DRD also ...

Its not a straight ' treble booster' - it addes some harmonic content even more so into an pushed amp - so yes the Rooster is wonderful at further pushing an already pissed off amp...

I think the BPB is what most people want when they want a louder clean signal

and t he RRB is what people want for ' more' from their distortion whether thats a pedal or an amp 8)

i LOVE the RRB........it adds a nice HAIRY edge to the sound, and would be GREAT into an already distorted amp.

seriously gonna consider getting one of those ROOSTERS next year 8)
