Model H - I'm in heaven.

Postby dududu » Wed Dec 16, 2009 5:16 am

now I get it.
it has such a beautiful, modern and "full" sound - amazing!
It's just what I was looking for into a DRRI.
some "bassy" quality to the distortion, it is BIG sounding.
very touch sensitive and lots of fun into the HBOD.
cheers to Bjorn!

this is my current board (with some BJFE love!):

Turbo tuner > PGC (12v) > TOP > Mojo vibe > Skreddy Pig Mine > EGDM (18v) > DRD > Model H > HBOD > Analogman mini Chorus (15v) > DBD (12v) > Skreddy Echo
all powered by 2 Flatliner SIX.

Love this set up. Are they your preferred Model H settings ?
I also love it with more volume and just a slight amount of gain.I'd be happy with this board too.
A lot of similar pedals to my board too! Haven't tried the pigmine or skreddy echo- currently loving the FEOTM too much!!!)
Like you I have the Mojo Vibe but I've heard the TOP AND Mojo Vibe together can be amazing.
I'd also LOVE Bobby D to do an acoustic clip using the TOP.
Enjoy.

Thanks, I love that pedal! I just wish I'd used a brush instead of a paint pen, its a little sloppier than I'd like in person.

And, the H sure does get Entwhistley if you want it too. It just needs a blend or a bi-amp if you want to keep it set like that for long.

Well hopefully there is time to get to a bass version - perhaps a BBBOD with the voice of the H ....... 8)
