Honey Bee Custom Shop

Postby High Noon » Fri Nov 27, 2009 9:33 am

What Custom Shop versions exist of the HB where the pedal color appears to be the standard color? (I am not talking about the deluxe.)

Cheers,
David

To be a bit more specific...I thought that a Custom Shop version of the standard production pedal was simply a color change. But if the color is the same, then what did the "custom shop" do? A tweak in the circuit maybe?

Hi,

Well, there is one custom colour Honey Bee that is green and is called Green Hornet and one customnamed Honey Bee that is called Honey Tea and that's about it.

Custom colours have been possible on customorder since 2003. Some models have been made in custom versions with no further designation.
You can also see the library for custom models

If the box says customshop on top of it then the model is nonstandard or may be a prototype as the case may be.

Have fun

Mr. Tea, very nice...wanted to purchase your other BJF CS pedals but...Saw your D*A*M for sale also but thought that the D*A*M too high but the BJF too low...Hope you got your amp!

The amp is secured, though I won't have it for a little while. Our new house is also finally ready this month and we move by Christmas, so money was already when the chance to buy the Cornell AC30 came up and unfortunately I was forced to liquidate my best.

I don't believe in profiting from special BJFs considering BJ did not charge me anything to make them personalised, I do ask for first refusal in the hope I can get it back someday though. I also sold the dam for slightly less than I paid, a great pedal indeed.

Hi,
Hahaha well there's no rule without an exception

Iwas going to add that those that say customshop ususually are haused in nonstandard casings aswell but this one is as standard as it gets down to a standard Honey Bee in a K-430, but you know when text is added and dried it can't be removed without damaging paint.....

So what you are looking at is a one very special accident at work..........but I let such things usually slip since often they are fun or at least peculiar or like this one ahum I just had to eat my post  wasn't that fun?

Have fun
