What a wonderful photo and what joy to walk in and find those at your feet.
It reminds me of Alan Rickman's line in Die Hard 1:
Hans Gruber: "And when Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept, for there were no more worlds to conquer." Benefits of a classical education.
(paraphrasing Plutarch-though I think this was Hollywood's version).
Simply Awesome.

you know, its good to read a thread like this every once in a while. lately, I've been on the amp prowl and the pedal just has taken backseat in the quest for tone, but after reading the initial post I realized that every gig I've played in the last year I have always been perfectly satisfied with my overdrive tone.

and thats like a miracle after years of burning through pedal after pedal after pedal on the hunt. the zen->hbod->syod->sbeq with the sbeq always on and a variety of stacks of the others. got a mrd for 80s tone that always hits the spot as well. but... hbod->syod(v1) with my sbeq to shape the board to the room ambience really is that tone in my head that I have always been looking for. so thanks a million to bjorn and don for making all this possible. you guys rock and these pedals are exactly what I've been looking for all this time.

 Couldn't have said it better! Bit the bug HARD only this past May, and haven't looked back! Like Slim and most of us here who have been through the lot of vintage and boutique, these colorful little gems really do set the benchmark for tone!

They have made my ears/brain better for it, and I continually thank BJ for what I'd call his
"translation of inspiration" !!
