I just got an email saying this pedal will be released after summer. Does anyone know what it is?

Hi,

Oh I doubt this OD will have such a name ;)

It's a thing I worked on, also many thanks to Johan, and you might see the first proto made here

Is it the one that I tried in gothenburg 2 months ago? The one that sounded great together with the Super Reverb amp?

Hi,
Yes, and it was a test to run it through the entire backline- the outcome:
Sebastian asked or insisted I'd look into having it made by MP pedals and I found that a good idea.

At this point factory is processing the circuit, and production is scheduled for August and September, due to local holidays this month.

Apart from this circuit there are also a trem, a phaser and a fuzz in progress.

More later
Have fun

Whao, cool Bj?rn. Nice to hear more people enjoyed this pedal.
I love mine and it's found it's place on my board. It makes love with my Super Reverb

Have a relaxing holiday Bj?rn. See you in the fall...

the gas list is growing longer not shorter.....the mp trem for sure.

phaser probably, fuzz -only if its different then PPF.. and now this!!!!

Bjorn,
Any idea of how many pedals the finnish elfs are making each month?? which is just a lead in, of course, to how many pedals you are able to build lately..
Not sure how you find the time, but I love the Mp delay and LGW so far-so keep on, keeping on!!

peace, mike

Hi,

Thank you Johan, anything remotely close to holliday this year is going to Florida in August.
Yes well it may take two sets of ears and I'll say I know much more about Super Reverbs and pedals now. I'm glad you enjoy your custom muscle OD after all it was tuned to your amp on a distans ;)

Well Fugot,
The MP Fuzz I'd say is rather different from anyother fuzz I have made and it would definately have more of a fuzztone than PPF.
Now in July the elfs have a holiday and factory is moving their location and also in the meantime preparing the new coming models, so production can start imediately August the 1st. There are many elfs and very efficient too, but from experience I'd say full launch won't be until September but let's say the capacity is large enough to produce 10-15 models and about as many of each as I can make per year by my own hands.
That said though there are at the moment MP pedals in transit to various dealers, though I think maybe Maken Music is at the moment the only US store with some kind of stock- most other US dealers ordered smaller quantities and sold out and placed new orders.
All in all the availability of MP-pedals is going to be good to excellent

Short on the Tremolo:
This one has three controls for Depth,Speed and Level- it is made to give about the same soft tremolo effect as SYT or really with the same goal in mind but using different circuit. Range is standard speed for tremolo not extremely fast or slow but fine tunable easily in the most desired range. Depth is constructed to give shades of just a movement to almost on/off- almost because it only takes off to be off and the effects is set to sweep sweatly. Level control got to be set on top for the production model which allows the effect to be set seemlessly in or out while also if desired a slight volume boost when on to make the effect just a bit more pronounced.

Gentlemen there is more to come

Thanks
BJ
