the honeybee -- one of the SWEETEST acoustic guitar preamps!

ok......so i had the honeybee for a few days, but just let it FLY back to the owner
however, i used it at gigs this past weekend.
when i went to do my solo acoustic gig, i plugged in and started soundchecking. i noticed the acoustic guitar sounded REALLY good. i checked the board to see if someone had changed the settings.
the HONEYBEE WAS ON!
and there was VERY LITTLE overdrive.....just warm, rich, full sound from the piezo equipped acoustic!
so....between the PGC in front, honeybee in middle, and SBEQ on the end of the chain.......i had an acoustic guitar sound that was the best i have ever had.
for those of you with honeybees who also play acoustic gigs......i HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to test this out.
the low output of most acoustic guitars do not drive the honeybee into full OVERDRIVE. it just makes it warm and sweet and full.
turned the nature knob to about 10:30, for a nice little bass boost.......and PERFECT!
