As Donner said, the CAF really is cutting through. It sounds like the little octave characteristic of the pedal is shining through as well.

almost.....i had it set at 12:00 noon on nature knob.....needed to get to 11:59 or 11:58, that's where that setting resides.

bjorn said easiest way to FIND this magic spot is to play a regular "D" major chord on second fret, and adjust nature knob until you hear that characteristic octave overtone ring modulated sound.

THEN the magic begins.

i really love the octavia setting on the CAF, and am learning to love the many other settings of the nature knob.

between the CAF and SWF, i have all the fuzzes i need. not that i don't desire more.......hmmm......maybe a NEW style BJF fuzz in the future? :D :D :D

I am curious now to hear it with an acoustic, but I can understand how it all can work in that setting with the EQ dialed in.

luckily, with the SBEQ at the end of my chain, i can use nearly anything and have more control over it. the SBEQ is a lifesaver!

Your killin me Bobby D!

This pedal sounds amazing! It almost sounds to me as if your able to tune the bias perfectly to create the desired level of noise! I want that! Really bad!

yes....the CAF allows you to go a LOT of places in the world of fuzz....i can't say it enough. it's amazing. but it's a noisy, unruly beast, so it's not for everyone. but when i want to be elegant and beautiful, i will turn on the snow white fuzz.

but these days, i am REALLY into RED pedals 8)
and having a LOT of fun with the CAF.

it is, however, the kind of pedal that can get you FIRED from a gig

I have a feeling there is a story behind the last bit

And i already have a Skreddy Lunar Module which is amazingly versatile and is not overly brutal or noisy at all, so i know what i'm getting myself into
