this is one that i am borrowing -- and my cat IS very serious about this one. she told me "you were stupid and let go of the last one -- now i will protect this one so that you do not lose it"

the thing that makes me MAD.....i sold it to someone, with the request that if he were to sell it, to give me the first chance to buy it back.

i was already missing it one week after selling it, so i emailed back to inquire whether he liked it or not. he had ALREADY SOLD IT  without even contacting me

live and learn. the pedals i love will not be sold again. while money may be an issue sometimes, i am finally back to gigging pretty regularly, and once my marriage is taken care of and my girls move down to key west with me, we will be on the road to financial recovery. it's been a tough year, lost my car to the finance company, and let go of a few things i did not want to, but things are turning around as they always do.

Boethius: It's my belief that history is a wheel. "Inconsistency is my very essence" -says the wheel- "Rise up on my spokes if you like, but don't complain when you are cast back down into the depths. Good times pass away, but then so do the bad. Mutability is our tragedy, but it is also our hope. The worst of times, like the best, are always passing away".

... Yeah, I have to go with the same 3 too...... Just had a thought: I wonder if Bjorn could relic his pedals with fake paint chips, right from the factory? Maybe an "MP Relics" line? haha

Hmmmm, in no order...

1) Blueberry
2) Model H
3) Pine green comp (or maybe the Candy apply fuzz... it seems boring to pick two overdrives and a compressor)

HoneyBee. I love my 5e3 and the HBOD gets me real close at high or low volumes. Turns other amps into something tweedy.

Model H. Like a HBOD but lots of gain and a bit different EQ. Super touch sensitive.

EGDM. SOunds like early Rory Gallagher. Stacks well with HBOD for Neil Young type tones.
