Deep Blue Delay Deluxe and Donner's Digital

Postby siderealtime » Mon Sep 21, 2009 12:07 am

I just noticed these on the pedal registry for the first time, and did some digging but came up dry.

What's the scoop on these? I'm a delay nut, so this really piqued my interest.

Donner's Digital Delay is a BJF-built custom version of a Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay. Same circuit.

interesting. same circuit, but better components? or just the special care of the creator in buildling....

now the real question is deep blue delay deluxe. because i absolutely love the dbd. lesse im thinking it could be a dbd pair with a boost, like the HBD?

or maybe some extra function on the 2nd stomp like the MGMV 2stomp vs single?

Same circuit, same components. Custom box, and built by BJ's hands instead of someone else's hands.

Same pedal.

Donner Digital was a precursor to the DBD ... its tuned a little different

the Deluxe I believe has a second stomp for a second time selection

Actually, you may want to try reading here BJFE Pedal Descriptions as I try to keep that up-to-date with all the descriptions of all the known pedals. It is not complete but it is not too bad and is probably the best place to start.
