lol.....ARRRRRRR....i am a PIRATE.

it would seem fitting to use an R this summer, since i am back in Pirate-land, good old Key West.

a very cool bjfe member is allowing me to use his R for a little while, gonna do some more demos and gigs with it. trying to determine whether i want an H or an R for my distortion pedal needs. i am all set for fuzz and overdrives. but i need ONE good distortion pedal on the board, it's essential

Model R is amazing......had a GREAT nite with it last nite......it likes to be boosted by the SHOD.....by itself, it can be a little dark......but OH MY GOD......when it gets boosted by something like the SHOD, it turns into a raging monster, liquid shreddy gain tones, tons of harmonics, just TONS of fun

it was really quite cool, less compressed than the DRD......i think i have found my proper distortion box.

i am now wondering how it would sound with the RRB boosting it

HA I was t hinking while reading your post that it sounds killer with the RRB but I havent tried it with the SHOD
