I've been wondering the same thing ... noticed that on the site they refer to most of their pics as the old one.

not sure either but i thought I remember someone talking about a cs-40 head with 2- 8" speakers in the head?? maybe that is it.

The new Cs40 looks more like a 101 with a blackface front...

I believe these speakers were placed on the sides of the matching speaker cabinets, not the actuall amplifier head.

yeah I believe one of the original speaker cab design innovations was to be the two 8s on the side ,,, not sure how many were actually made or if they a re still being produced....

Do they even make matching cabinetts "officially", anymore? Back in the days they used to sell as a rig with head and cab, at least in Sweden, but now you seldomly see the cabs..?

I actually missed a used CS40 that was for sale in Sweden just the other day. It came out when I was away at a music festival, and when I got home and e-mailed the guy the amp was already sold. To bad!

Hi!

I got myself a customized CS40 head & cab (2x12 Red Fangs) with real leather tolex. The cabinet is matching with the head. I´ll try to get you a pic here in the forum.
