Hello SYOD!

Thanks to all including Don, BJ, and all my hombre's here on the BJFE Forum. Looking forward to burning this one in. I tried the V1 SYOD way back when and found it too bright for my rig so I'm excited to hear the evolution.

I was telling my wife about the recurring dream and where it comes from.

The bear comes from a movie that was on TV in the early 80's maybe late 70's. I think it was called Killer Grizzly. It was filmed near our house. The story is that a giant bear is attacking campers and wreaking havoc on vacationers.
I remember a waterfall scene where a young nubile female is bathing and the bear reaches down and kills her from atop the waterfall.

And another scene where the bear pushes over a forest service lookout tower. Seems like a guy lands in a helicopter and blows the bear up with a bazooka.

That movie scared the crap out of me and obviously haunts me to this day.

Bigfoot comes from a summer "bigfoot" reading kick when I was young. That's what the public library did for me. Helped create heart-racing recurring dreams.

And helped me win the opportunity to lay down SYOD goodness. Thanks again,

Hi All!

It has been a while since even logging in so, it is good to see more contests. It is funny that the recurring dream is the contest this time, I have had this dream since 1987 and i have it about 5 times a year ever since and had it about a week ago. My dream is I am walking down a street during a fall season when the leaves are changing and I see this guy raking his leaves in his front yard. So, i stop by and ask if he needs any help and he says "sure, grab a rake". So I do and we are raking this guys yard. He is wearing sunglasses, really tight shorts and knee high white tube socks. He is wearing a tye-dye t-shirt and after about 15 minutes, he finally removes his glasses and it is Bobby Weir from the Grateful Dead! I have been a huge fan of both Bobby and Jerry and in my dream, I cant believe I am meeting Bob Weir. So, he invites me in for a beer and low and behold, Jerry is sitting in Bobby's living room playing a banjo and just as he is about to get up to shake my hand, I wake up. Same dream, every time. Every time I have it, I do wake up feeling pretty cool about it, but i do have a regret. I do wish that I would have shook Jerry's hand, played a little guitar with he and Bobby and maybe smoked a little something with them. Oh well. Not a bad dream.
