Oh good lord! This is way, way, WAY COOL! I feel like Charlie in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" after opening that last Wonka bar...except I'm shouting "I've got a golden bricket! I've got a golden bricket!"
Thank you for your consideration Donner!!! Woo-hoo! After entering, I was glad to have actually written those recollections out for the first time(thankfully my memory is still pretty sharp).
Well, here's a kicker, and what timing too--I just scored one of the hand-wired protos of the MP Sweet Honey(one of ten) off Ebay, so along with my wonderful Deluxe HB, and in addition to the Folk Driver Tour Box, I will detail up a full report, and hopefully in the next few weeks get some sort of video demo together!
Damn, this is a GOOD week! And thank you Sean for the sentiments.

Congrats Melodichaotic,

If Donner says the Tone control was nailed, then it pretty much is exactly that! Problem is, you'll likely find every clock position useful and the decision on where it sounds the sweetest will be the tough part!

You are going to have a lot of fun in the coming weeks, months, years!!

Yeah the Tone control is just right.
It has the most headroom/treble at Noon - to the left is regular treble rolloff - to the right is sort of a an upper mid reshaping - this nicely incorporates the SOOD changes/research in one pedal - I think this sucker may be 'done' - its really versatile now and has this slight tasty amplike compression depending on how hard you dig in
I may have to hang on to one of these, this is different than my original proto --- but thats why we do the research - everyhting is variable 8)

I just got the new sweet honey ordered as well. I am really looking forward to trying it out, and comparing it to my HB. I got a PGC some time ago. It has really brought out something in my other MP/BJFe pedals, that I did not see at first. I love that pedal! :)

Congrats again! :)

A couple of years back I had this series of dreams that always started with me waking up, and usually finding a friend of mine dressed in girl cloathes. He couldn't see me, but I tried shouting at him, asking why he was dressed like that, but I got now response.

I guess my best shot is at winning this thing through the drawing.... :D
Man, I wan't this!

mrpicard wrote:My "recurring dream" was that I would get this map pluggin sorted out and I did.. By the way, the reason why I am so quiet at the moment is because I am wandering around Europe somewhere. This shows where I am at the moment - this is Utrecht about 30km out of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. I can't seem to find any SYOD V.2 pedals here anywhere...
