HI,
Finally posting the Folk Driver today, going to Analoghog. Cool pedal I was hoping to do some sort of demo for(been sick for a while), but I will be posting some feedback soon.
Thanks

No worries, I made it a point to disinfect before every knob twiddling session, and I baked it for 4 hours at 450 degrees to sterilize prior to shipping...just in case.

Damn post master left the box on the front porch in pouring rain, but the dog notified me of the delivery and the fold driver is safe in Seattle.
Martin has a winner here no doubt, here is what I ran tonight.
Fender CS closet classic '62 strat>
Fuzz Face clone (mine) >
Point to Point Go! > Basically my take on the electra distortion circuit with 1u input cap, 2n1304 transistor, .022u cap in parallel with 1n34a diodes at output (quite a bit different than the Go! Bobby D had for a bit).>
Folk Driver> Set the controls at noon to start and found a happy place with "T" at 9:30, "V" at 12:30.
Amp was a 18w 1974x type amp that I built with a V30
I liked how it took the FF and the Go! and it was nice first in line as well. Very dynamic and responsive and no ice-pick. I hate ice-pick. It seems that most dirt boxes are either mud or ice-pick and few find the happy place in the middle.
Something odd happened at the end of practice and the Folk Driver fused to my pedal board and I fear that it is permenanty stuck there:) I would like to give it another spin side by side with the HBOD and with different settings on the pedal. Tonights practice was pretty loud and the FD cut though really well.
Others have requested separating the tone and drive control but correct me if I am wrong but the "T" is the control and it cannot be separated. The caps on either side of "T" can be tweeked but the "T" control is what it is. Personally I like what it is.
I can't help but notice that I am last on the list for the tour of this fine machine. I would like to keep it for a while and even make my own version based on Souls circuit and see what happens.
Things I would like to mess with.
1. Trannies - perhaps try with some 2n130x with higher Hfe than spec (125+) adjust R3, R4, R6, R7 to tune the circuit.
2. Mess with C2 and C3 - the 10:1 ratio could be messed with as could the bottom and top cap values. I would like to try .15 and .015
3. clipping diodes - lots of possibilitis here. cap in parallel with the dioeds - one par or two, GE, Si, etc.
This is a fun one....
