I have it (US tour). I was hoping to record a demo, but I've been too busy this past week to set up for that. I'll get it in the mail 1st thing next week.

The Folk Driver is on its way to Edgewater NJ, UPS. Supposed to arrive tomorrow. If the soon to be recipient would like a link to UPS tracking, PM me.
Cheers!

I have had the European Folk Driver for a few days and really dig it. Great with the SHOD especially. It is a very interesting pedal and quite different to anything else. I have sent a pm to Windfield who I think is next on the list. Many thanks for the opportunity to try it. Great stuff!
Cheers
Sean

'Bout time I set down some additional comments, having sent the Folk Driver down the road last week.
Overall, very nice light OD. With my Strats (vintage style pickups, modest output) I felt it really needed something in front to bring it to full voice, so to speak (PGC to the rescue). Had me wondering whether the circuit could accommodate a trimpot to adjust whatever input attenuation there might be, in order to tweak for different types of pickups (just a thought, perhaps a silly one).
With the Les Paul and a harder kick from the humbuckers the FD just kills. If I used the LP much (I don't) I'd be pestering Soulsonic to build me my own Folk Driver. I'd certainly welcome an FD kit, and I suspect others would as well, given the response so far from folks who've had it as a guest on this tour.
The FD was quite amp friendly - happy with 6L6, 6V6, EL84 amps- BUT, with the Les Paul into a Juke 1210 loaded with KT88s it really sounded fantastic: just disappeared into the amp, adding a bit of compression and just the right touch of grit. I was hoping to try it with a friend's old Sunn Model T to see if this was the magic formula (6550/KT88), but couldn't arrange it within a reasonable time-frame.
My compliments to the chef!

Hi
Could someone please let me know where I should post the Folk Driver? I have mailed Windfield but didn't receive a reply. I am traveling overseas on Saturday for work for three weeks so any info would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Sean
