Hi folks, here it is, my little homemade demo of the Folkdriver.

I apologize for the poor sound, this is my entry in the youtube pedal demo world, and i realize the mic of a panasonic cam is NOT the way to record guitar sounds. also i played at home with very limited volume and thus wasnt able to show how great the Folkdriver sounds pushing a tube amp.

when using the folkdriver first time on the gig i didnt realize how drastic the Timbre control works. Great feature, by turning it You really get some Honey Bee flavor out of the pedal. The „sag“ is definitely there!

plus, i kinda dig the middle position of the control. Nice „Blues Boost“- not as bold as the SHOD , not as sweet as TS type pedals. just clear, almost, ALMOST neutral boost. little hair. very nice. I like that.

my only complaint would be the increase of bass when turning counterclockwise. while its a nice feature for Strat bridge sounds, it is a bit much IMHO.

I'm grateful for havin been given the chance to check this out. i would definitely keep it in my rig, if my need for dirt wasnt covered already  there's too much good stuff out there nowadays, i gotta leave it alone :D

did i do sthg wrong? guess my first venture into pedal demos will remain the last one too
anyway, i'm ready to ship the pedal to the next paticipant of the tourbox. i really enjoyed it, and like i said, wouldnt hesitate to add it to my rig.

kinda slow around here these days,,everyone must be on vacation.

seriously , nicely done! showcases the pedal well and sounded great. the only thing I couldnt hear was the lower end, but maybe that is just my speakers.

I would hope you continue to do more demos in the future. 8)

thanks guys!
listening back i think the basic sound of my amp is a little dull on the vid, so maybe it doesnt do the pedal justice....this must be due to the "bedroom" level i was forced to play at.
actually i love the pedal more and more, it gives a flavor that i haven't got covered in my arsenal yet!

hey all,

PMs sent to

Statolux-PA
Melodichaotic-NJ
Analoghog-IL
Cosmonaut-CA
Jformel-WA

and that would pretty much be the order. If you could please reply to my email with your shipping. Thank You.

As far as the Euro side, Seans is in Manchester UK and Winfield is in Denmark. If Huckleboogie would be so kind as to correspond with whomever is closest, it would be much appreciated. :) I sent a pm to all of you as well. Thanks again.

Nice demo, huckleboogie! I'm very happy to see these boxes getting around so people can try them. I'm also very happy to see that it can get the sort of sounds people can use.
I am in the middle of moving at the moment, so things are extremely busy for me, but after the move is complete, I will get on top of getting the whole kit thing together.

Folk Driver has landed safely in Strat-o-lux land. Thanks, Lann.

I've only had about 15 min. to spend with it so far. 1st observation - using a Gibson 330 clone with single coils (custom Dynasonic type) and the old DR, the FD can bring out a nice early Neil Young (Cinnamon Girl) sound, or name your '50s electric blues guy playing a hollowbody into a tweedy sort of amp.

I dig the Timbre control - very clever. Only 2 knobs!

Different character than the Honey Bee. It also likes the PGC in front for a tiny boost.

More to follow. I'll try it with a bunch of different amps.

Mr. Sonic, you've done a fine thing here.
