Volume at noon? Isn't that a bit loud? I find unity to be at around nine. Very much looking forward to your vid!

Slim, would you say this pedal is best suited for darker or brighter amps?

hopefully i will be able to make a video demo that shows the variety of sounds possible with the SHOD. i did not get to play around with it much at gigs, just got a good sound and went with it for the rest of the week!

basically vol at noon, focus at noon, gain about 2 pm....

funnny i actually get my unity volume at about 9:00 too! I'm finding all of my guitars with their different PUP configs seem to like the gain dial in different spots, with my P-90s I set it reeeeeally low and the dynamics just pop right out at you. kind of the nature of a P-90 I guess but I'm amazed at the gain I can get by digging in and then right back to near-crystal cleans... crank the gain a bit with my jazzmaster and I'm still figuring out all the best settings with the Gordy Smith since its got so many tonal variations with the push-pull pots and such.

I'm finding my amp seems to like the focus best at about 10:30

hmm... should do some more experimenting!
My BJFE- Some special ones. Some standard ones. I love them all just the same.

Tonite George Sholtz has invited me to his amp shop to demo his new high gain 100 watt head, and he wants me to bring along the SWEET HONEY, so i will be playing Mark Knopfler's old Schecter strat, the sweet honey OD, and george's new 100 watt head. video clips posted later tonite or tomorrow. it's gonna be GOOD

maybe play sweet honey thru THESE??? 8)
