SHOD vid! (now better quality)

Postby NewarkWilder » Tue May 26, 2009 11:13 pm

just a little taste of the honey.

wish i was a better player tho, sorry 'bout that

getting some comments on TGP that are basically saying the audio on this is just too bad to be a good representation of the pedal... i'll take it down if others feel that way, i didnt think it was so bad myself
My BJFE- Some special ones. Some standard ones. I love them all just the same.

i don't think it's so bad as TGPers are making it out to be, it's just a little bright and crispy.....camera audio is always hit and miss....

seems fine to me, has the usual youtubyness sound, but gets the dynamic jist across, along with other some other good aspects.

thanks for taking the time to make and post it! :)

the ones with the Tele? i think that was Harri.....one hell of a blues player! but he never changed the knobs 8)

he sure can PLAY though.......

we got a lot of good people here who do some amazing demos...Teahead comes to mind. and Newark does a great job too.....he approaches the pedals more from a "sound designer" kind of standpoint, as he is catching up on the playing aspect. but have no fear, he may have started late, but he is one of the most intelligent and dedicated young players i have ever met, and he'll probably be SMOKING me as a player in a few short years 8)

haha thanks

i could rip some swirly modulated delay & reverb drenched dreamytime type sounds for ya but that doesn't go so well with a pedal demo

sadly sometimes i wonder if i shouldn't just be concentrating on the electronica since i'm so much better at it and try to really master piano but what can i say theres just nothing more fun than playing guitar

i think you should keep doing ALL of it. i know several players who started later in life, dedicated themselves, and have become great guitarists. plus, you have such a wide range of interests, it's far more interesting than being "just a guitarist". that's why i do the ambient music, why i studied ethnomusicology and cultural studies instead of music theory, and why i like pedals so much
