Yay! My Rocketride showed up yesterday and I was a little surprised to see
it was painted "stealth" Black instead of some cool finish like the other pedals
in this series. Well the it's not what's outside or inside the box it's how it sounds
and performs. I haven't tried it out yet and I really want to see how it reacts to
my fuzz pedals and it's behavior without buffering.

So Slim, you say yours is really light weight. Does yours have the "stack-o-plates"
fastened to the heel area inside? I like that it's got the tension adjustments found
on a Tease pedal. The pot doesn't rely on that cast bulkhead that's always tapered
making the pot want to creep. It's secured to a metal yoke that looks most stout.

The pedals that arrived this week are seen below;

Now to go finish my chores so I can pause to rock!

Great demo as usual Slim. Many thanks. It sounds awesome - especially with the Snow White!

I'd imagine it's to counter the abnormally light feeling the pedal has. Maybe Sebastian
was encountering "nose wheelies" while rocking the treadle forward.

Your demo sounded tasty! To my ears the wah has the quack of the Maestro Boomerang
heard in plenty of 70s soul/funk songs. It's all kinds of WIN.

this wah DOES have the FUNK and the QUACK........i don't know how they did it.

gonna have to give it a try at a gig, and do "papa was a rollling stone" and some johnny "wah wah" watson songs, and see if it passes the "funk test" 8)

Hi,

There are no tropical fish swimming around in this wha, nor stack of dimes...........

Maybe a stack of plates can make up for that?

Nah, yes this is a lightweight wha and actually, operating bypass is easier when the backpart has a little weight.

I tuned this for a sound memory of a wha, and also for something that Sebastian asked about if there could be a pivot for the vocalness...........yes there can if you can define where that preferably would be, but I just set that by ear and memory.

Right, there's not to be so much fancyness about this wha but a good price to boot.

Have fun
BJ

cabo, Had the list closed or production ceased when you attempted to order one of these?
That sucks as I can see a definite pattern developing in your latest collection.
Have you gotten on the delay list? I don't know how many ms it's going to have or any
details for that matter.

NG.
