Any wireless users in the house???

I've been thinking a lot lately about going wireless. It seems like it would be so nice to be able to do gigs and not be tied down by my guitar cord.

Anybody here gig with wireless? If so, which ones have you found to sound the most like a cable?

The main thing I'm worried about is the wireless hurting my tone. I have heard that they do make wireless systems for guitar that sound just like you're using a guitar cord. I've never used one before, so if anybody could shed some light for me, I would indeed be most appreciative.

I have a Shure ULXP4 system that I use in my acoustic set up and for vocals.

It has been very dependable and so far as I can tell, no signal is lost in transmission.

I haven't tried it with my electric but I can do so on a weekend and let you know if you want.

Actually, in the 2 months that have passed since I posted that, I ended up giving one of those new X2 Wireless systems a try.

Great product IMO. I've already done a few gigs with it, and never a problem.
