I would love a clean blend on the PGC

So I just sold my PGC.... and I already miss it. Ultimately the reason I sold it was because it doesn't sport a clean blend. I'm weird in that I have to have some of my dry initial attack left untouched.

So it got me thinking.... what would it take to get a dry blend knob put in a PGC?

this is an interesting thought.....i am waiting for a PGC to arrive any day now. for all the "clean" funky rhythm playing i have to do at gigs, i think this pedal will really help to smooth out my sound and make it more "upfront".

i would imagine it is possible to get a clean blend in there...but honestly, the only other compressor i have ever liked as much as the PGC was the TC Sustain/Parametric EQ pedal.....and the PGC wins that race hands down because it doesn't completely "squash" the signal like the TC does, yet it still gets that magical sound.

Right - owned one. But I like the PGC better and would like a "blend" knob so i can set the amount of clean signal blended in.

An external blending box could do this easily. It would be a basic FX loop with a parallel blend control and a bypass switch.

Exactly - it is THE closest available, but still when I play with humbuckers I do tend to notice the lack thereof... Single coils I pretty much never notice.

So waddya say BJ - PGC v.2 with clean blend knob?
