What IC Chip would add a touch of distortion to LGW?

The LGW has a socket so you can swap out chips, but.....
- I wondered if there was any recommendations beyond the 2 chips that have been used by BJFE and
- I am unsure where one buys these IC ships, even the standard 2.
I think mine has the chip that came in the first units. The writing is so small that I can't actually read the darn thing, but the sound is real smooth, so I'm guessing based on BJ's description of the two he used found elsewhere on the forum.
Any help on how to locate these appreciated, and if IC chip is the wrong term please tell me the right one!
I really dig this pedal. I have been trying to sell it because I think I could get by with the MP version, but I really don't mind keeping it as it sounds so good. Besides, I can always say, "I tried to sell it honey....it's the damn economy!!"
