BJFE / BearFoot fx Guitar Effects Community

I have had an HB for awhile, and before I bought it I had a Dyna Red that I had previously sold. I just recently bought back the Dyna Red from a friend, so I hadnt had a chance to try them together before now. Yesterday I plugged them into my Tophat Club Deluxe thru my Baker B1.The tone with both stacked together is nothing short of brilliant. It is also the first time I have tried this stack through a 6V6 amp
with a master volume, so that might have something to do with my amazement as well. I know I'm probably not telling many of you anything new, but those of you who havent tried this combination-DO IT NOW!!

The HB really boosts the DRD over the top doesn't it... but without being too noisy or splatty. So far, I prefer the HB before distortions because of how well it works as a boost.

yes....i liked the HB before the fuzzes and other dirt pedals.

but i am REALLY looking forward to the sweet honey OD from Mad Professor. on the waiting list with Sebastian. from the clips i have heard, the SHOD addresses the things about the HB that i would have tuned up.....just a bit "tighter" and more headroom-ey.......i think the sweet honey is gonna be a breakthru pedal for Mad Professor, and will be a new overdrive pedal that really surprises a lot of guitarists who are searching for something other than another YATS pedal

I concur. The honeybee is a great stacker. I currently have it after a SWF and before a Model H but also like it before the SWF too. Maybe I need two?? He he.

my board is kinda SLIM right now, no pun intended

but i'm using the MP FRF, MP LGW, BJF SWF, MP DBD, and have some pedals incoming -- BJF PGC, Fromel Seraph & GO!.

using an old vox king wah, but i need to change the pot, i'm afraid....

on waiting list for new sweet honey OD from MP.

but in my quest for the right OD pedal, i am thinking i might be needing the SYOD. that's bad news....as there are VERY few of them

i also need to give the MP SBOD another try.....
