Compressor hunt.

Hi Guys.

I promise I won't keep posting a thread every day! But I am in a pedal buying spree right now, so I need help. hehe.

I am looking for a compressor to use mostly with teles/strats and 6L6 style amps. I really love the tones in this clip (that's what I want to get out of a comp).

I previously owned a keeley, but I never really bonded with it. Too difficult to set right, and a bit too squishy (if that is the word?)...

I am hearing really good things about the PGC, but then I would have to wait a couple of months:D. But there is also a Telenordia tk-23 on TGP. I really want that one - I have heard great things about it. Have any of you tried it? The only problem is that he won't ship it to me here in Denmark, so I am trying to find someone in the states who can help me out...

I hope to get some input on this:D

btw i think the MP is great, our friend Slim Henderson has very tasteful vid up on youtube, which shows how sweet the MP comp sounds into a BF Super.

That clip with slim is the clip I linked to right? But that is the BJFE PGC and not the MP FGC right? are they the same circuit wise?

ahhhh-stupid me! thats the clip i was talkin about
and, true, he uses the BJFE comp. i'm sure other members of the forum will be able to tell You if there's much of a difference between the two....

I live in dresden, germany. BTW, i'm a huge fan of a danish guitar player named Uffe Steen....do You know him? he's awesome....

the PGC is worth the wait. it is quite simply the BEST guitar compressor pedal I have ever heard. and it's the only thing i have ever liked better than the TC Sustain/Parametric EQ pedal WITHOUT the squash!

i am waiting for one too......

i haven't heard anything else that sounds that good. that clip was the first time i had ever plugged into a PGC, and that was what it inspired me to play. LOVED IT!
