OK, that is interesting. The Little Green Emphaser (LGE) was built as a companion to the DRD to provide the boost you talk about so how does the tone profile of the new SYOD II match the tone profile of the original LGE?

I have thought about that quite a lot and have come to the obvious conclusion that the best solution is for you just to send me your SYOD II - he, he :-) Man, you haven't even received it yet and people are taking it off you!!! Talk about desperate :-)

i am just happy to get this drive again...i have owned the Little Purple overdrive and a SYOD and had to sell both for rent!
Out of the +hundred pedals i have gone through the only one i really miss is the SYOD (and my halophaze)...i have tried nearly all the bjf pedals and this is one of my favorites...now with my louder and more amp and my small swart, i KNOW this will bring them alive...only overdrive i really ever bonded with, besided the Honey bee

enough ranting...Bjorns pedals just keep me playing for hours, and that is whats important...my whole experience with electric guitar has Bjf undertones...

also Mr Picard, do you really have a LGE?
If so can you take a few pics!

thanks!
Matt

Yep, right there with you. Wish I hadn't sold my SYOD. And I waited a LOOONG time to get that thing.

the LGE is mostly a booster with a variable freq hump sort of -
SYOD is a OD that makes it own distortion ......

I dont have an LGE anymore so I cant directly compare the freq response.......

SYOD i tried from the tourbox was QUITE nice sounding. I really think the SYOD would THRIVE plugged into the darker channel on a marshall, or any darker voiced-amp. It had great articulation, a nice "zing" to the string sound, and was a quite intriguing flavor of overdrive.

so many BJF's, so little $$$ 8)
