Warning SUPer lOng dreaMMM!

My dream is one that has baffled my mind for a long time
Let me start off by saying I am obsessed with Radiohead…so much so that many of my dreams focus around seeing the band in ridiculous settings…This dream is no exception!

I remember looking at a ticket to a music festival; I was standing in line on a long straight dirt road with many other people. To the right of me was a baron landscape, literally rolling hills for many many miles. To the left of me was an epic forest with gigantic trees…the festival was in the forest...
When I got to the front of the line the ticket holder was seated in something similar to the chair in which a lifeguard sits. After she took my ticket she asked me “do you want to go the easy way or the difficult way?”. At the time I was so excited I took the easy route which comprised of me entering a small building and walking to the doors on the other side of the room.
I remember night fell quickly and I was soon on a shakedown street type avenue. There really was no mention of music which I found odd…The line of vendors stretched into the distance in front of me and all around me where strange costumes and neon lights. I spotted a friend of mine in the distance but he was already running towards me. It was my friend Jesse from Chicago, he is a crazy genius and a very peculiar man. My concentration was completely on him running widely through the many people that were in his path. Just as he came within talking distance two, what I reasoned to be circus people. on stilts stopped in front of him and lit up this epically long pink cigarette. They handed it to Jesse and he walked up to me casually and mentioned to me that I need to visit the local airport in order to find out where and when the music was going to occur.
I left the festival at daybreak and walked down the same road in which I first started this dream. I slowly approached this gigantic concrete cube in the middle of nowhere that skyrocketed into the heavens. It was silent outside, I thought this could not possibly be an airport. However, upon entering the structure I found myself completely engulfed in the generic airport terminal fever. There were what seemed to be endless gates and passengers streaming in from all sides of me. I found a seat in the center of the terminal. Then, in what seemed to be a one in a million coincidence, I ran into two child-hood friends that I had not seen in years. They were brothers Kevin and Brian. I was utterly shocked that they were at this random place and we stayed and talked for a long time about Sega games and trading sports cards. They told me I needed to go back to the festival so I did not miss Radiohead…I remember freaking out, I did not know Radiohead was playing, the thought of missing them made me full of anxiety.
As I walked away from the airport, again alone on the same dusty road, the sun was setting as an alarming rate. Arriving at the festival grounds the ticket lady again asked me if I wanted to go the easy or difficult route. For whatever reason I chose the difficult route and though hard to explain, this path was full of strange shaped obstacles in which I had to squeeze past in order to reach my destination.
When I entered the forest it was already pitch black and I could hear Radiohead playing Paranoid Android in the distance. I started to run and push through branches, the music became louder and louder. When I finally came upon what I thought was the concert, it turned out to be a supremely trendy Bar in the middle of the woods. It had glass walls, and tabletops that were glowing with neon lights…it was amazing…but it was not Radiohead, just the music of said band playing loudly over the speakers.

I have never had another dream that spanned more the one day and was so lucid…I do not know what it all meant

However my redemption came later
I once walked upon Radiohead playing the song “Lucky” with a HUGE orchestra…it was grand concert and sounded sooooooooooooo good, probably one of my favorite times seeing them! And it was in my head

Long post but interesting because I rarely write what I have dreamt down
Awesome!!!

OK, I do have a technical question about the SYOD II. So far we have the following specific BJFE/MP overdrive pedals:

- BJFE Baby Blue Overdrive (BBOD)
- BJFE Honey Bee Overdrive (HBOD)
- MP Little Green Wonder (LGW)
- MP Sky Blue Overdrive (SBOD)
- MP Amber Overdrive (name yet to be decided)

We also have the following distortion pedals that can produce a form of overdrive:

- BJFE Dyna Red Distortion (DRD)
- BJFE Emerald Green Distortion Machine (EGDM)
- MP Mighty Red Distortion (MRD)

Now, I know that all these have quite a few differences. However, one of the key differentiators for the SYOD from the rest was the treble and the "bite" that it provided. It certainly made it stand out from the above pedals. However, now that the SYOD II has more of an uppermid push than the treble 'slice' doesn't it bring that pedal closer in tone/sound to some of the pedals above? Wouldn't it bring the pedal closer to the SBOD and LWG in tone/distort profile? I kind of liked that idea that the SYOD pushed away from some of the existing pedals. Anyway, I would be very interested to see if someone can do a comparison to the other BJFE pedals just to see how different the new SYOD is. Thanks, should be fun :-)

Good question... I was just doing some investigative playing and the new SYODs treble is very similar now to the DRD ....
Which makes perfect sense as it w as originally created as a booster/second channel for a DRD or Marshall amp....
the SYODs mids push in a different place t han t he DRD so you actualy get more cut thru rather t han just a squishier version from over saturating the mids in a distortion...

Its also great after the DRD to give it a lead cut thru........

really you wouldnt be far off calling it an OD companion for the DRD ( or other distortions)
