Got a new addition in the mail today and it fits in pretty well.
I kinda wish I could find a Pale Green now though... or even just a body control in a box. I miss its tone shaping way more than I expected.

Thanks to Pete for letting me try the Klon
while he tried the TOP (no. 2) I got from cabo.
I'll be selling a few pedals soon for my next BJF.

My pedal board... looks lame compared to those posted here; but it rocks! This stack is a riot and occasionally
I run the EGD at 18 V, which is scaring, in a positive way. The HBOD is magic...

Hey, with many boards being a bit of a showcase sporting 10-15+ pedals, unless you need to cover a LOT of bases, I commend you with your simple two pedal set-up...a lot of tonal flavors to be had with just those two and your guitar volume knob.

Ah,
its a long story, but the HBOD was 'named' after my beloved daughter Emma (sweet,
wonderful and loud...) and a famous (in Finland) 60's hit song named accordingly. The sound of
the local bands those days often was a combination of enthusiasm, being young, playing stratocasters and
using any amp available, meaning often quite small tube amps run relatively hot... I think with the
Honey Bee, I can grasp some of that 'tweed' and feel...
But the 'customisation' was done by myself; otherwise its the HBOD #565 unmodified.

About that "Emma"-instrumental,
infact that sologuitarist Henrik Granö was the first to have Stratocaster in Finland. And that song was played with it.

And this is quite an interesting read on the subject of that sound and Finnish music at the time:
