@musicsoma: I have found with the D80 and my Echozar they tend to fill and blend in and I don't notice a problem if things are not exactly synced. I felt the same way until I started to spend time live with it. I use them to have more of a reverb-like ambience with slower repeats. I can lock them up fairly easy but if its really critical or if its the rhythmic 8th note thing I have the MML2 with tap for that. Trem that isn't synced bothers me more hence the Diamond trem with tap. I have borrowed a TES from a good friend who was kind enough to send it to me for a couple of weeks and I was blown away. It seems to really blend in nicely. It gets ambient and spacey when the MML2 is run into the D80 or the TES. With a volume pedal on the front end its a beautiful thing. While I had the TES when using it live I had guitarists coming up after wanting to know what delay I was using. The D80 is nice and I have a TES coming to me from Pete at the end of the year, unless I run across the rare used one, which at that point I'll have to determine is I want to shell out the big bucks for it.

Haha! Yeah, I'm a total control freak, so the thought of no tap is terrifying. That said, I do have an old 70s Memory Man I use in a similar fashion as that you described - creating a bigger and more spacious sound. For my beloved Dotted Eighth, I stick with my DMMTT.

Very tempting to try a Providence unit. Has anyone tried the newer version (I forget the name) with tap? If so, how does it compare?

apparently another Providence delay is coming out to replicate the Delay 80's more, i would imagine they would add more features as well.

After 4 months of waiting I finally got a second power supply so I wouldn't have to run Y cords and use wall warts for my high Amperage pedals. It is the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power Digital and the drop in noise, I am guessing from ground loops, is very noticeable. I stuck the PP Digital to the bottom of the board with Dual-Loc because it was cheaper than the Pedaltrain brackets and it takes up no room where I might need to thread a power or signal cable. I got a 35mm hole saw bit for my Milwaukee 1/2" drill and it came out perfect after minor sanding to remove any sharp areas.

If anyone knows of where to get a 1' power cord please contact me. I could hide the cable under the board, for the PP Digital which plugs into the outlet of my PP2+, but I am afraid of what the plugs will do to my arrangement of the underside. I use a lot of the .5" velcro wraps to gather the power cables to keep them from hanging out and possibly getting disconnected.

Am I fortunate or what?

I run my PGC before the PTD Mini-Bone to help my weak single coil pickups get the Bone/Horn sounds. I will be rotating the Mini-Bone with a Foxrox Hot Si Fuzz and a Foxrox CC Fuzz depending on my needs. Sorry for the crappy cell phone shot, but I am documenting my 1st graders Science Fair with my good camera and I do not want to upload things just yet.

I am trying to order a few of the Pedaltrain Boosters from Tone Factor, but it won't roll over to paypal. I am going to add a single booster under the Octron and probably the Orbit. A dual booster should fit under the Timeline which really does not need a boost, but when boosted I do not have to worry about hitting knobs of the surrounding pedals with my size 14 feet.

I don't have a lot of time with it and my first impression was not good as I had bought a used Bone Machine and really liked that. I sent a bunch of pedals to Jonnyrocket and then the Mini-Bone arrived and I could not get it to work. It turns out that Paul just changed the sweep, direction and gain of the Bone series and it works backwards from my Bone Machine! After getting things figured out it is a really fun pedal. I do think it may work better with P-90 or humbucker type pickups though it does work really well with my Jazzmaster. It is fun using a fuzz that is not trying to be an exact recreation of what has been done. It is a little like the CAF that way and it would be nice if the CAF had the Bone's tone toggle to take some of the top end off.

Really nice set up! I love the Echoczar, what a fantastic delay. When I had one, it always played very nicely with my BJFE goodies.
