hmmmm......will we ever see/hear a BJFe take on chorus?????

Postby Bobby D » Sat Jan 10, 2009 9:30 pm

i know BJ's plate is pretty full with everything else, but i would really be interested in what Bjorn would do with a chorus pedal.

the only modern thing i have heard that excited me is jfromel's LUSH pedal, as i was a Dimension C user back when they first came out, and have always LOVED that pedal. the LUSH is sweet, and i already have "dibs" on newark wilders, in case he ever lets it go 8) 8) 8)

but i wonder of BJ will ever do a chorus? i know it's a lot more complicated than fuzzes/overdrives/boosters/etc......but the tiny orange phase gives me hope that BJ may do some more modulation pedals......maybe......

that'd be interesting!!

i just got a diamond vibrato that does a really great chorus too... it + the Lush = bliss

and i'm not even really that into chorus!

the diamond vibrato totally rules btw, burr brown chips for the win!

yeah....i just started playing with a new band that is gonna be REALLY good, total early 80s new wave style band....and chorus is gonna have to be back on my board.

i have liked the analogman minichorus, the fulltone choralflange, and the LUSH/dimension C, as well as the venerable TC chorus. there have been so many others i have wanted to try......

but i would totally dig a small footprint typical BJF sized chorus, even a simple two knob BJF take on chorus.

but i may have to find another analogman minichorus......or get a LUSH 8) 8) 8)

I tried so many chorus pedals and I always end up back with a EHX small clone. Only pedal from them I really like.

Nice! That vibrato looks amazing... Just finished a CE-2 copy to use as a vibrato (I'm not really big on chorus eiher), but somehow Diamond always keeps me thinking I need their pedals too.

I had to change the name of the LUSH to Seraph - same chrous - different name. I would like to see a BJF chorus as well. I am working on a mono chorus for those who don't want the stereo gig or the $279 price tag. I think most people have seen the one I made Donner, this is what it looks like now.

Ooooooooh. Beautiful man. I'm still happy with my lucky # 13 but that is killer. The Death Is Gain has been on my radar too, if i have money any time soon i'll letcha know :D

Oh, and I understand doing a mono chorus but MY GOD does it ever sound amazing in stereo. Love.

nice look to it, what language is the writing in?

btw great sounding pedal,,I was lucky to try Donners out and had alot of fun with it....is there a stereo in option for these?

the only chorus Ive ever really loved was in a ADA rackmount preamp, im fairly certain it was tube driven, either way it had the most amazing sound. would probably still have it if was not rackmount.
