EGDM - Voice control?

Postby cardinal of crunk » Thu Dec 18, 2008 10:27 am

Don't get me wrong, I love the sounds I'm getting out of this pedal! But the voice knob doesn't seem to do much. It's nice and fat all the way CCW, and brightens up just past 8 o clock but doesn't seem to change much from 8 o clock to full CW. Even with the other two knobs in all different settings. Maybe it interacts differently with other amps? I'm using a strat and a PRS with a tweed deluxe. I have only ran it at 9 volts so far.

It did have a bit of influence on the range of the control. I ended up setting it back to where it was when I got it and then actually traded it for some other stuff. I liked it, just moving on I guess.

Hi,

Hey what amps speakers and guitars were you running Cardinal of crunk?

About EGDM, that's a model I like some days and in certain setups-sometimes I don't bond with it at all and othertimes it just sits perfectly.

I have seen these phases in EGDM using it with different set ups, and gather all these pieces.
In the test set up it sounds the same .......

For instance it tends to like compressed amps like old VOX AC 30's with the original speakers and one quality that blends fine with those can sound dry with other amps and speakers.

The trimmer I set right were treble starts to get 'vocal'

Have fun

Could someone clarify trimmer's function? Does turning it clockwise increase or decrease the treble?

Hi,

I can't tell you that as the trimmer is circular and can be mounted in two ways.

I trim by ear

Have fun

Hi! I was running it with a tweed Deluxe clone. To be honest, I've found that this amp doesn't like dirt pedals in general.
