BREAKING NEWS! THE BBOD ROCKS!!

Postby NewarkWilder » Thu Dec 04, 2008 2:43 pm

Oh, wait, you knew that already?

Mine got here today (thanks Juston!!! super fast!!) and I finally got to hear what this beauty is all about. Holy smokes! Its got more gain than I was expecting and is just pure rock'n'roll. I love it. Frankly I was expecting something more along the lines of the Honey Bee and I was dead wrong about that. But thats good, now I know there is room on the board for both of them!!

I'll need to spend more time with it of course but the initial impression is- yep, lives up to the hype and then some. so dynamic. love it. :P
My BJFE- Some special ones. Some standard ones. I love them all just the same.

congratulations man!
this puppy produces one of the greatest leadsounds ever! one of my favorites, although i couldnt use it as a sole pedal for all applications, it always stays on my board.
this thing is truly genius, i don't know HOW HE DID IT!
rock on:-)

As good as all the other overdrives are, I love the Baby Blue the most.

Yay! I've been looking for one at a decent price & in good condition and was finally able to snag one on ebay tonight. I think I got it within an hour or two of the guy putting it on the site. Can't wait to plug it in. Anyone else have any favortite settings or stacking suggestions for a BBOD newbie? :)

No special settings required for the BBOD, just plug her in! :) You can't go wrong! :) Congrats!

What affect do those wings have on the tone? Are they more in the Fender camp or the Marshall camp? :)

heheh, they help me getting a nice greasy southern blues sound.
also, in order to play and understand gospel music, it helps to eat a lot of chicken ;-)
