Welcome torn! Your insight will benefit everyone here!

Very cool that you got hooked up with a LouderAndMore!! (LoMo... I Like it!)
Did you go with a head w/loop?

I haven't recorded with mine... Yet...

i ordered the combo, as i felt i could use a low-watt complete package
for the west coast studio;
as well, my 2 main amps are 100w, and 110w.
practical, eh?

plus which:
there are a few absolutely wicked sounding clips of the LoMo
that've been posted.....
i'm very enthusiastic about this wee beasty.

and..... alex has been so communicative as
to make the purchase an absolute, easy joy.
very high marks to him!,
which i do not say lightly.

dude.

Saw this a liitle late, but any ole IEC cord should work fine. Mine didn't come with a power cable either, but I had a few laying around.

I go play now... ImageImageImage

I replied to your email just a minute ago but I see you got the answer here :D
Power cords were not included because US power cords are something like 30$ over here - I'm sure you wouldn't be happy to be charged that kind of money for a power cord

Some pointers to remember:
The amp was designed and voiced around the Eminence Red Fang. It will sound different with other speakers.
Red Fang is a high efficiency speaker (103db at 1kHz rising to 108db at 2-4kHz) which means that it is LOUD.
Low efficiency speakers will be a lot quieter, especially on cleans.

I only just got back from Lasses rehearsal studio where we gave DT's combo a good 4 hrs of work out.
We played the amp alone, not miked or lined out, against backing tracks run through a gig PA at volume that would make conversation in a small club nearly impossible - no problem, the amp was cutting through, not standing out and above the backing but nicely fitting in the mix. We used both a Telecaster and LP.
Same experiment with a 412 cab with lazy speakers - that dog didn't hunt well at all.

Enjoy, gentlemen

very cool to hear, AN!

also nice to know about the design centering on high-efficiency speakers,
as i have an interesting bunch of multi-speaker celestion blue-loaded cabs,
'round these parts.....
have y'all played the Lo+Mo with cel-blues, at all?
no worries, though:
i will.
