Yes, I have a few different germanium fuzzes from both Bob McBroom (PedalWorks) and others. They have responded well as I've heard that the Louder & More amplifier is very pedal friendly to my own ears. I don't think that Bjorn and Alexsander would have wanted it to be the opposite--being not pedal/fuzz friendly that is. Versatility is the thing here after all.

My amp arrived today, less than 24hrs of shipping.
My family is sleeping by now so I can´t play the amp tonigt.
(Even a low watt amp should be played loud and more!)
Tomorrow I´m at work whole day and night, it will be friday evening before I can play this litte green wonder. :)

Hi,

I'd be very curious to what speakers are used with the head version of L&M.

I'd also be interested in if there are any prefered speakers .

Thanks and have fun

Bjorn,

I have to say I'm really digging the Avatar 212 cabinet with the 2 Celestion Blues in it. This is the cabinet that has the oval port hole. I'm loving it. That said
I want to try a Red Fang too... 8)

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback.

Hm, of the speakers we did try with this amp the Red FAng was the one we liked the best.

Ah, you know I have access now to an AC -30TB and might just run the L&M through those speakers just too hear what the Alnico Blues do.

The first L&M's are now all out there and I am most glad to note so many happy homes.

I wonder what questions this 3W amp brings?

Amps or any gear at all often give birth to questions......

and guitarists tend to use things in the nonintended way.............I know from my own experience;)

Thanks and have fun

Yes, we love questions, we may even answer in an unexpected way

As of today almost all amps have found happy homes (the one shipped to Australia took a long time but got to it's owner just before Xmas) and I know they have made their owners equally happy as some of you were kind enough to tell me so in emails. Thanks guys for that, it really warmed my ticker.

Those who have missed or were unable to join the IPLAM Club (I Play LouderAndMore) at the time of it's inception have now an excellent opportunity: MakenMusic in Chicago grabbed the remaining 6 (2 combos and 4 heads, all with FXLoop), they were delivered to their shop today.

Anyone going to Winter NAMM? I'll be there with a L&M head in Eminence booth.
A Tubewonder and, if I'm not mistaken, a MP amp will be there too. Come by and give all 3 a spin.

A Happy New Year to everyone :!: :!: :!:

Hi Bjorn/everybody,

This just in (as concerning speakers used with the Louder & More amp). My two favorite cabinets used thus far are a Tungsten pine wood 1-12 cabinet (loaded wth a specially designed speaker developed by Adam Palow of Tungsten Amplification and Ted Weber). These speakers are now commercially available since November 1st from Tungsten Amplification of Grand Island, FL. The other is my Avatar 2-12 8 ohm cabinet loaded with Celestion Blues. I'm planning on getting an 8 ohm Red Fang shortly to load in yet another 1-12 cabinet. These sound fabulous and in fact Bjorn just lurched when I gave him a quick idea of what the Tungsten speakers sounded like. FYI, this special speaker is modeled after a really old vintage Jensen and it just NAILS that old sound to a tee!

I received following "First Impressions" in a private email today from an owner of a L&M Combo.
I'm posting English translation with the authors permission:

"Hej Alex,

I'm not sure the honeymoon is over yet. Every time I sit down with a guitar and the L&M amp
I get carried away by pure joy of playing. Every day brings a new discovery,
it feels as though I still haven't tested the amp thoroughly.
For example, I didn't feel a need to use a reverb or delay so I have not tried the FX Loop yet.

One of L&Ms advantages is that it allows me to appreciate differences between my guitars more.
I played a Strat and Warmoth Telecaster as well as a PRS McCarty. Since L&M has no provision
to equalize away the differences it makes one focus on each guitars uniqueness.

The guitar I most often play through the L&M on OTR setting is my Telecaster
with "Hot Vintage" set of Lundgren pickups that allow me to go from full distortion
(bridge pup Vol on 10) to clean (neck pup with rolled back volume).
An important characteristic of OTR setting is that it doesn't sound too polished
but just "pretty-ugly" enough to work well in a mix - it cuts through.

NEAT has a very nice sound - I think a few effects in the loop will sound fantatstic too.
Pushing NEAT towards 10 on both "Louder" & "More" knobs brings forth a fantastically
huge and dynamic sound although going past 10 makes some hiss noticable.

In short: I'm one happy camper, the amp is fantastic and responds with great dynamics.
It allows me to focus on playing my guitar.

I'll be exploring the L&M land further.
I'll be recording some demo tracks for a song writer sometime in February
and will put my L&M to good use.

Anders G."
