Mmmm, I would say it is either:

1. A tape echo or,
2. The device on which the VCF/SWAW was based.

Hi,

Yes, young and training, while in 1985 I really pursued being a guitarist/musician.

Woohoo, memoryjog

On top of the amplifier resides a modified Dynachord Echord Mini- I still have it but it is in pieces as once bandmembers setting up the stage for an outdor gig placed that tapecho on the brink of the stage and the gig was cancelled due to rain......I got a BOSS Digital Delay shortly after..........not as enchanting sound but at least it didn't matter if it rained on it.

This is the fuzzpedal I used for that gig and other gigs at the time.
The amp had to be set in a certain way to use this but I was mostly using fuzz anyway just dialing the volumecontrols on the guitar for different shades- extreme disaster at full throttle while behaved sortof anyway when backed down.

Quite a few other bands at the time such that would share stages used Larivee guitars and ADA racks with smooth overdrive and chorous......or Gallien Krueger amps with similar sounds- it was the 80's with balloon trousers and bandanas and very pointy shoulders or paisley shirts and Chelsea boots just accordingly to musicstyle.........

Have fun
BJ

BJ!

you mean the 80s LIKE THIS?

I am on the right, with my custom ordered "dweezil green" Jackson strat

My bassist is on left, and he sent his surfer shorts to Jackson, and they made a bass to match his shorts!

I had 2 100 watt Mesa Boogie MkIII heads, split into stereo with TC 1210 spatial expander (amazing unit) and 2 white 4x12 Boogie cabs, all cream colored.

THESE are the days when I got LOTS of chicks 8)

DONNER has been to this club -- it was called "The Volley CLub" in north Tampa....

What... No aluminum foil chaps, no wrap-around shades, no skinny ties, no rising sun doo rag to control BIG HAIR?
No tie-dye, no bell bottoms, no shiny Nehru jackets with a dickey and big ole 2lb medallion hanging? No paisly shirts & plaid pants?

Ooops... Wrong decade!
