I think something with really long repeats, crisp sound . . . something that works well for modern sounds . . . would be fun.
fwiw, the deep blue delay is digital

Yeah, but it's really meant to sound analog, at least according to Bjorn's write-up. And the max delay time is 450 ms.

ok.. don't kill me for this, i'm even a little embarrassed for thinking about it, but how about some kind of Dumble inspired low gain jazzy sort of OD? I know its been done to death, but we've got the LGW, the TS for people who don't like TSs... how about something different but in keeping with the creamy sort of slightly overdriven clean tone. something really graceful but without being all elevator music-y.

I'd like to see Bjorn's take on an overdrive/distortion inspired by a blonde bassman and/or a Brownface Deluxe or Brownface Princeton.
I can't really comment on any modulation/swirly type pedals since I have yet to play any of the BJF/MP ones...same with fuzzes

I think Bjorn should do a Muff, but make it rough and nasty, with some grit!
I also second the idea of a crisp sounding digital delay -
Like a TC 2290 in a stompbox with very tweakable modulation and a subtle high cut adjustment knob.

funny,
i think the DBD IS pretty much on the crisp side....very articulate, audible repeats as opposed to analog delays.
so i would go in the other direction and wish for a delay with a darker characteristic. i LOVE the DBD for its small footprint. and i use it all the time! just saying that sthg similar with tweakable highs would be killer!

yeah I would have too agree. The DBD resembles tape delay more than analog delay sound. It would be nice to see a darker analog delay,,maybe with some modulation option.

digitally controlled LFOs of various types, controlled by a small microprocessor.
the logic circuit would feed the analog modulation FRACTALS in number form -- so that instead of just random LFO rates, there would be these beautiful repeating patterns, that would morph into other beautiful patterns, and would always be fresh....
a man can dare to dream......
If you are up for it the Seraph Deluxe DIY kit has CV control of the LFO so you could control it with any host of things with a CV output.

A Bjorn-built, Muff-inspired pedal would be pretty friggin sweet. I agree with that one.
