A BJFE Story

Postby rubytuesday007 » Sat Oct 11, 2008 9:49 am

This is a little story about my new friends Bjorn and Donner and the way they took care of me.

I bought an ordinary single stomp Mini-vibe 2nd hand a few months ago off evil-bay and when I plugged it in, something didn't sound right. I took a recording and emailed it to Donner and BJ. Donner immediately identified that something wasn't right so he asked that I send it in to him. He received the pedal and sure enough, it was not right. Soooo...he sent it to BJ who immediately fixed the problem and shipped it back to the states. You would think that this should be a quick and easy process. Somehow, the post office, either US or Sweden, misplaced the package and for quite some time, unable to locate it. Donner informed me that a new one would be made for me and sent directly to me from BJ. As my anticipation grew to try the mini-vibe, the day finally arrived. I tore open the box and low and behold, BJ made me a 2stomp Sea Blue mini-vibe. THANKS BJ AND DONNER!!!!!!!!!

The funny part of the story is that whoever sold me the pedal, probably thought they were passing off a bad pedal to me. It was a music store that sold it to me, so I don't think they were part of the community here. Shame on them for either knowing they sent a defective pedal or for not know it was defective.

All I wanted to say was that the community here is a fun place to hang and try some of the best pedals on the market. It makes it even better when the owners of the business TAKE CARE OF THEIR CLIENTS!!!!

Below is a pic of the new baby!

Cheers

Adam

ah, thanks Adam ( and everyone ) that was a bit of an adventure

of the hundreds of boxes Ive sent back and forth with BJ thats the only one that ever disappeared ( well there was an even stranger one with a slow boat to somewhere that we learned a few lessons from ~~~)

and of course your box also had 2 other BJFs of other folks thats gone as well....

anyway thank goodness we know the guy that makes 'em and he was willing to remake and upgrade them,,, 8) ,,,

yes BJ has always been a heck of a guy and a great friend and it shows in his little magic tone boxes and his service 8)

Fantastic, good for you! I'm not one bit surprised that you were taken care of to that exceptional level. Funny, but what we consider to be exceptional customer service is just their ordinary way of treating people.
