A black little box (Model H )

Postby polifemo » Thu May 24, 2007 5:24 am

Bjorn just inforned me about this forum, so I just had to drop by and say Hello!

OK, a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine (*top producer/sessionplayer)dropped by my house.

I had just bought a vintage Big Muff for him, and he dropped by to pick it up.

He brought with him a bunch of his latest BJF-pedals, and the last one he plugged in was a "black little box".

He played the intro to the Who?s "My generation" and looked up at me smiling. I don.t know if I smiled or not, but in my mind I was going " Where the xxxx did that HIWATT come from...
No folks, there was no HIWATT in the room, there was "only" Bjorns HIWATT-pedal :-)

Yes folks, I have heard, seen and played it, and it rocks!!!

* my producer/sessionplayer friend was a strong believer in vintage pedals. During the years he has collected some of the holy grails among pedals and was putting them ina big rack.
I listened to his rig and said "This is just fine, but I?d like to introduce you to a friend of mine!"

To make a long story short, his rig now is made up of BJF pedals ;-) I think he has bought 14 pedals! At least ;-)

This will be all for now.

/Peter

yeah sorry, hectic week ~~~~
the tone control is cool - it also adjust t he mids to get just t he right cab-push feel, next week I will start the video flood and Ill at least do a quickie for here --- this is not even a customshopper yet , no list or anything, just R and D for now.... 8)

Model H and DRD for comparison

the Tone control in the middle adjusts the mids as well as you can hear..

That sounds great. Really nice clip Donner, easy to hear the differences.
