i know, its not really news, but i discovered just 3 days ago what killer sounds i get from the stack BBOD>DRD!!! i mean the pedals have been said to stack well together but for me it just never worked till i turned down gain on both (BBOD 9 o clock, DRD 11 o clock)
right now i got a gig in the musical CHESS, written by ABBA members Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. anyway there are a lot of 80s sounds required there and some fun-to-play-guitar hero solos which are so much fun and easy to play with this combo. plus usin the BBOD by itself at this low gain setting revealed to me how incredibly dynamic that thing reacts. even more so than my honeybee...WOW.

Yeah, that sounds like an enviable gig. Congratulations again.

I saw some pictures of those guy's gear, OMG! Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson must be
monster rockers at heart.
ABBA, who'd have thought? :D

yeah, it's a cool gig and it keeps me on my toes as far as reading music...some complicated stuff in there.
funny, i never listened to ABBA too much....should check out some stuff. BTW, i listened alot to the original recording of that musical and there's a killer player on guitar...i wish i knew who that was. i guess a swedish session-ace.
