This weekend 10/25-26 was the big Louder&More live test. I brought a combo, a head and a combo cab converted to a 1x12 closed back speaker cab to "Great Scandinavian Guitar Show" in Stockholm. 300 miles north-east from Goteborg.
Both were turned on and played almost continously for two days without any glitches.

Björn did several demos in his unique explosive styl - these were the shows highlights by themselves.
This was the official swedish premiere and Louder&More amps were very well received indeed. "Fuzz" guitar magazine requested an amp for test and review asap.

Visitors who tried the amps were impressed:
-" A sound to kill for !"
and astonished:
-"Never imagined I could get such ass kicking sound at whisper volume!"

I tried to shoot some videos but the room was hard walled with no soft surfaces anywhere to be seen so the camcorders mic was incapable of doing the amps any justice. I shot a few stills though.

Here's Björn doing "pedal to the metal" style demo:

...and a more quite moment at the end of the show on Sunday afternoon:

Next week I'll be working my rear end off to get all cabs finished. Probability is bordering on certainty for first amps getting shipped out in mid November.

The Lab-Rock Friday.

This Halloween Friday Björn, Eva and I tricked and treated the Louder&More crew at "our" factory in Goteborg. It almost didn't happen as Björn & Evas car broke down Thursday morning just as they were about to embark on the 450km trip from Stockholm to Goteborg. After some frustrating moments they managed to get tickets for an overbooked train and arrived safely late in the evening.

Friday morning we went to Fabec factory to check the builds and run some tests. At the entrance to the assembly rooms we had to remove our shoes and outer jackets and put on anti- ESD slippers and coats. This is mandatory since the assembly areas are full of sensitive electronic components that can be damaged by electrostatic discharge. With the slippers and coats on we were "grounded" the whole time.
Now, swedish word for coat is "rock". It is important to know.

Björn did a test/demo for the crew in full anti-ESD gear, but I suspect it was not enough to fully discharge him.
So here is the only photo of Björn doing the lab-rock not wearing his trade mark "Mad Professor" leather vest.

After the performance we checked finished amp chassies and could only conclude that Thomas the wiring master replicated my build to the last yota with one exception: his work looks neater than mine. I need to shape up.
We concluded that the amps meet all our requirements so we proceeded give them our seal of approval by putting our signatures on each.

Here's the Fabec floor crew that is building the amps. The management missed the show and the photo shoot

From left to right: Eva-Karin & Helen - PCB assembly, Eva Juhl - total moral support, Mr.Louder, Bengt - test engineer, Mr.More, Thomas - master wiring wizard. The other Bengt who is responsible for production planing and making sure everything runs smoothly was away having fun in London.
Thomas anticipated an unusual day at work and brought his camcorder. I'll be getting a DVD from him and after I edit it I'll put a few cuts on our youtube site. I think I'll be doing it in between dressing the cabs...

Hi,

Ahum, jackets and shoes at factory floor were just on loan, and no they had none issued in black..... and you had to stand on one leg too and discharge yourself before entering...........ahum that ofcourse meant-don't take of the hat or I'd look like a Beatle ;)

I don't think there are any video clips of this year's Stockholm show but here's a link to the year before last year's show and it might also show the general reaction of those watching the demonstrations:

There's much more to tell- I'll need time to write things down on empty spaces

Have fun
BJ
