Yeah Id say cabo and EJ and a few others have really amazing collections

I do have alot, but many are protos or one offs or reboxes or 'pedals that dont exist yet  ' and it wouldnt do any good to show them....... I dont think Ive ever really taken a group shot,,, most of them are in the library shots.....Ill see what I can do, just for entertainment purposes,,, I like to look to so I understand.... 8)

ok just for entertainment purposes - heres a non standard set up

Image

in from the right:
VCF/WAH > MGMV w/original 'cup' switch and external volume > PPPhaser > Wooden Tremolo (goes slower) > reconstituted Maestro Fuzz > Fuzz 1 (precurser of BBOD) > Sparkling Red Fuzz (Fuzz companion to Model R) > Model R Proto (became first customshop pedal) > TriColor (LGW proto) > Sparkling Blue EQ (SBEQ 1off box) > Donners Digital Delay (DBD precursor) > Reboxed Holy Grail > Sepiqua Sough (means something like 'trees breathing' in swedish - reboxed Arion Fat Chorus)

TAPD&BFC Stands for 'Trans Atlantic Pedal Designers and Beer Fanciers Club' sort of a fun precursor to the Customshop

heres another round of ones you may not have seen in a board context before....

Image

again from the right:

wah > envelope filter > Yellow Tremolo (precursor to Saffron YT) > Folk Phaser > reconstituted Square Wave Fuzz > FaceBender (mix of FuzzFace and ToneBender) > Mystoury Fuzz (SWF Proto) > Sunburst Fuzz (Fire Red Fuzz proto) > Sunset OD (SBOD precursor) > Angus Distortion (Cliff Hanger proto) > up to Grit Booster > reworked AD80 > Emerald Green Echo Machine (reworked Ibanez Echomachine, prename/color for EGDM)

again this is just for lookee lou peepshow fun - none are ever going to be for sale and BJ doesnt do this stuff anymore so please dont bug him about it...... just have a nice look and let it go

Hey bjf-crazy, I saw your Van Halen pic, do you have any bjf pedals / stacks that you use for David Lee Roth-era VH tones? If so, please share your settings! Thanks!

In my search for good rock n roll, I'm rediscovering a lot of the bands from my youth. Just re-bought some of the DLR stuff. Thanks!

Hey EJ,
come to think of it my favorite use for t he Model R is stacked with the Honey Bee- when its pushed the Bee treble opens up and does t he same with the R tone.....

I always thought the good ole DRD had the best VH 'bounce' of any distortion , and if it sounds a little dark on your rig for VH try that Little Red Trebler or Even the Rooster in front of it ....
David Roth Distortion = DRD
