Technically speaking, what does the Little Red Trebler do?

Postby Eskimo_Joe » Thu Jun 12, 2008 8:17 pm

So is it that it adds treble, or takes away bass/mid, or reshapes the tone altogether? Just curious how treble boosters actually work. Thanks!

This is the very article Bjorn had written a few years back to explain the LRT, and treble boosting in general. It's a great read, and the LRT is a great pedal. I had one a while back.

Has anyone ever played one of the original Rangemaster treble boosters? Didn't Clapton use one back in the 60's?

No, I haven't played a Rangemaster. But yes, Clapton did use one back in the 60's. A lot of those cats did.
