Doc, I do hope to get some clips together, but for now my trusty old four track is warbling and warping any tape that goes near it. I suppose it has been time to upgrade for some time, I might even drag myself kicking and screaming into the digital age!

JKoeth, I still own and use PGC, MGMV & SBEQ on a daily basis, with the newly acquired LPOD of course. In an ideal world I would dearly love to have HBOD, EGDM etc all here for home use, should the whim take me. Perhaps one day I'll be fortunate enough to do so, but that luxury won't happen for a while. I've had to keep my pedals down to the most functional lately, which isn't a bad thing since it brings some much needed perspective.

well I thought this might be a good place to share the Sparkling Yellow as its the same as Doc and Teaheads OD. 8)

After some time with it the SYOD its does have a sound of its own, but reminds me of another one of my favorites, the BBOD ,with more drive and with some mids added but not as low as LGW mids, . Smoother and clearer, than LGW but still punchy.

I also found some similarities with it and the overdrive end of the PPF. The Yellow having more clarity and definition, less gain , overall more drive like properties.

I do use the PGC into SYOD, and I like the SBEQ after to add a touch more bass. Near perfect. It does do well into the DRD as mentioned. For some songs I sort of do the opposite, I have the DRD on and hit it with the SYOD into it for solos.
I dont set the drive to high(ususally between 12-1) so I can get a very versitile clean or crunchy sound from it with out tweaking or over stacking. It is on most of the time. Im currently using it with a Tele into a Traynor 20 watt and has been working out great. Lets hope this one makes it!
Take care,
Cabo

For now you cant - this one is still in research mode ... the nice thing about our little board group here is we can do research and not start stampedes :D and get any bugs worked out long before they hit the general public ...... whether it or any other research model becomes a Limited Edition, or a Custom Shop or full BJFE or MP model depends on the way things play out over time ... for now the backburners have backburners :)
