What's the "diaper method"? I want my HBOD on my board. I was thinking how cool it would be to be able to buy spare bottoms with velcro on them and put them on any pedal you wanted to.

I think the "diaper method" is not removing the adhesive strip from the velcro and simply screwing the back on the pedal so it clamps the velcro piece on the top and bottom...kind of hard to describe, and I might even be wrong, haha. The best method I've found so far is simply buying plain enclosures and using the bottoms. Sure, they're $5 or so apiece, but that's a small price to pay when you're investing $400 in a pedal.

You would have thought that after almost 50 years of guitar effects pedals that someone would have designed an easy way to attach a pedal to a pedal board without (a) reducing the value of the pedal or (b) making the pedal look untidy if you do not want to attach it to a pedal board.

...I was messing with magnets for this once upon a time ---- I wonder if the high magnatism would effect the electronics ??

someone on another forum once said "You don't play the paint".

True that.

I use velcro. Oh well.

i have never bought pedals as an "investment", only for the sound.
