Question for Bjorn from the very picky . . .

I know this is very picky, but I doubt I'm the only one . . .

Your ELFA enclosures are fantastic, Bjorn. Typically, I use a Hammond aluminum cover on the K-430 to replace the painted cover on each of my pedals (don't want the velcro to tear the paint off). I know. I know. Picky. But who wants to tear off that cool paint job?

I just got an HBOD Dlx and the Hammond lid for that enclosure is too small. So I started a hunt to get some lids from Elfa. They won't sell the lids separately (I asked), but they do sell direct to the US. The problem is that shipping for 2 or 3 enclosures is about 48 Euro!

So here's the question for Bjorn: Does Elfa have a US distributor? Can you think of any clever way to get some replacement lids?

Bottomplates

Hi,

Hm, I might know somewhere where K-430 bottomplates can be found as in seperately

Hm, I shall look into it tomorrow.

Are you putting together a BJF bottomplate collection to hang on a wall? :)

The HB Dlx aswell as MGMVs use a UK made Eddystone box type 29830PLSA.

At your service
BJ

Ha ha! That's a good idea!

If you and Eva didn't make them look so cool, I wouldn't have this problem.

Hey Bjorn, I too am a proud (new) owner of a HB Deluxe and want to buy a separate bottom plate to keep the original looking beautiful :) ...you mentioned that the enclosure is a Eddystone 29830PLSA, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Any leads/tips?

Thanks! AWESOME pedal by the way...I really never expected anything to bump my Analogman King of Tone off my board, but this did the trick.

Really don't want to mess up the bottom of my beautiful Mighty Copper Mini Vibe so I did some hunting to find the box and I found it box here:

http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?Tab ... &U=Strat15

If you google Eddystone, you can download a pdf of their brochure. In that you can see part number 29830PSLA with measurements 120 95 30 (without lid). So this is the one!

They are not currently in stock but I put an order in. Will post when I get it

Cheers,

Sean

I found an Elfa supplier (and Eddystone), but the shipping from Europe is horrendous. The Hammond enclosures have worked quite well in most cases. For the HBOD Dlx, I had to ream out the holes a little, but it works well enough.
