The D does it all for me.. More and more for each day That edge control is simply outstanding and the low gain transparency easily whips that man-horse territory. A 'grail' pedal for sure

Thanks Angus! I managed to get a quick 30 minutes with the model D yesterday, i was playing my stratocaster into a fender concert amp with a fender reverb tank in-front.. My initial reaction to the model D is one of complete awe! I use a single-coil guitar into a clean fender amp predominantly and use pedals to kick things up a notch and my first thought was 'this is what I've been searching for'... it really filled out the amp in all the right places, and the bottom end was so robust yet sweet.. i quickly found a setting that to my ear had that special 'dumble' thing going on but the range of drive and tweak-ability means this pedal is far from a one trick pony.. I couldn't be happier! More to come once i get the chance to dig in further with the model D,

The more I use this pedal the more it amazes me and you are absolutely right in how it fills the right places... a spectral perfection from nicely clean and intuitively compressed to suprizingly large amounts of gain, there is always incredible 'flavour' there.. and I totally agree about the sweetness... it isn't aspartan, this is real honest sugar sweet

Great to hear these impressions, and your finish looks really quite smick...nice balance between silver and green...and that's a lovely shade of green. Seems your initial take is quite aligned with Angus'...that's really excellent...sounds like lots of interactivity between the Edge/Body and Drive settings...do post a demo if/when you get a chance...I really appreciated Angus's video(and other videos)...would be nice to hear how everyone runs it through their own rigs, giving a broader spectrum of the Model D's tones through various applications, which is always cool...many congrats!

On the Ferry heading back home from Björn's place. Played the "Model D" today and I'm blown away by it! A unique pedal indeed.

Thanks for the kind words guys! The model D just continues to excite me every time i play it.. for me it can produce the ultimate low gain OD tones - Really bold and clean but with this agitation that is completely dependent on touch (My SRV licks have never sounded so good!) I'm hoping to give it a try through some amps other than a fender asap to see how it reacts to different tubes etc.. I will also try and figure out a method of attaining some worthy sound clips as recording on an iPhone doesn't quite cut it!

The Model D rips the heck out of my OS21. Also does the AC30 quite nicely. Somehow, this little box seems to produce all tones from edgy to fat and juicy via pick pressure. Magical indeed.
