An ode to a cat

Postby BJF » Sat Mar 27, 2010 6:47 pm

Hi,

Today we had to let Siggi Maja Clerasilen 'The Sheriff' with only one fang join the choir invisible. She's been with us most of our daughter's lifes and came to us wayward and near dying but had since then twelve years which made her considering that she allready was four years old when she came a grand old lady among cats and one that could command dogs three times her size with her paw and blow kittens meters across floors with her mere breath while she was also a pillow and a caring stepmother. She got one of her names from the shampoo that she was bathed in five times to get her in shape again.

In loving memory

Rest in peace Lady Maja

Myself as well. I had a dog for years that I lost a few years back. Couldn't understand more.

So sorry to hear that...feline friends are some of the best in the world. It sounds like she was well-cared for and loved. I miss our last cat Haley...she could and would gnaw through some of my best guitar cables, but she was pure love. Regards to your daughters.
