I'm not sure if this is the right board for this thread, but I thought I would give it a shot.

I bought an EGDM last spring on TGP, after owning two different EGDM's at different times. Ever since I got this one last spring, it seems to have less volume (oomph?) than my previous two. I put in a fresh battery when I got it. I don't have any power supplies or wall wart converters to plug into to see if it is that. I have it in the same sequence in the effects chain and I use the same guitar and amp settings that I did with my last EGDM.

The volume knob is nearly cranked before I get any kind of boost from my bypassed volume, where on my other two it would be before half way when I had sufficient boost.

I may need to play around to see if this is all the case, but in worst case scenario, what would be the steps to have the pedal looked at?

Nah, that doesn't sound right, my EGDM had masses of level, I don't think I ever took it past 9 or 10 o'clock.

What about giving the trimmer a little tweak just to make sure there's no surface gunge on its contacts? To be honest I doubt
this would do anything, but it's all I can think of.

I re-set the internal trimmer when I first got it. When I got it, it was really bright for my set up, now I got it to where I want it. It still didn't have the level of my other two (especially my first one which you could barely move the level knob before everything was begging for mercy). I understand that these are hand built, but after owning two previously and talking to others who own one, the EGDM doesn't exactly play nice Even the HBOD I have is giving it the business as far as output and attitude goes
