Fred Briggs - Hummingbird Overdrive

I felt I'd post this up here for all you BJFe addicts. It's a circuit I designed a few years ago after Bjorn set a challenge for us to come up with our own Honey Bee inspired designs. The best way I can describe it is as an "enhancer" - it makes and already good overdrive tone better! It produces a great low overdrive, the compression and shimmer controls are very interactive with regard to both the gain/clipping structure and the overall tone and feel of the device.
Here's the link to the project on my site: http://revolutiondeux.blogspot.com/2009/07/fred-briggs-hummingbird-overdrive.html
Harald Sabro has done a great vero layout for the Hummingbird which is included on my site.
[NOTE] One of the capacitors is marked as 47k on the schematic - this should read 47n. Point B goes to the input of the mosfet stage.
