HA well yeah - I let them sit and cure in the air until the top coats were good and hard as it can take a bit for them to fully set sometimes ........ and its beautiful seeing them all together as they all flicker a little differently and its quite a site to see them all in a patch..... anyway they are off to thier new homes and lives and will make other people just as happy.... 8) ok maybe I need another cat

I just unpacked these and holy sh&^ they look incredible. Damn you slackers who have not paid, NO PEDAL FOR YOU!!! we should have charged twice as much for these, I need one of these for my board and Donner has a habit of collecting #2's (so his will be number 2). I think one should go to Bjorn as well. Anyhow none of the slackers get pedals from this round. If we do another round then all slackers will be given amnesty.

I need to order a few parts but everyone should have their kits under the Christmas tree, or under whatever plant your tradition esteems for the winter holiday. Based on my builds of these so far I am going to modify VR1 for a 1m rev taper pot, this will give a smoother control over the gain

I hate to be negative by saying such things as "Damn you Slackers" but there has been a lot of REAL pro-bono work in this project. Bjorn has freely given a schem which based on my study, IMHO may be as original as a fuzz circuit can get in modern times, AND has given much comment on the circuit and it's mods. Nic from NOC3 did the original design for the PCB - for free and what I am charging for a complete kit, with documentation after paying Donner to finish these (which he did at bargain basement price) is again pro-bono work. So Slackers get no love. I will talk about this with Bjorn and Donner before making a call but I think it would be best to auction off the remaining slackers pedals for charity and perhaps give some winter coats and a few hot meals to families who are wihtout. After seeing how beautiful these pedals will be when complete and the time and energy of 4 contributing artists I am in shock that there are any slackers on a run of 25 pedal kits at $120 each.

If I am out of line I will let Donner or Bjorn rail on me.

...woohoo! Glad they made it in one piece......

The whole point of this project offering is to build a collaborative educational experience ... and we did take a long time to finally get things fully rolling so Im not suprised if a few lost interest in the interim (we learned something right there  )..... but I also think that once the initial group actually gets the solder flowing there will be renewed and new interest and as long as there is fun and learning going on ~ thats fine by me if it evolves some more as we go ....so let the soldering begin !! ... 8)

I'm a firm believer in the axioms "Patience is a virtue" and "good things take time," so I'm not offended by comments about the "slackers" or "tire kickers" whatever the case may be.

John and Donner, your dedication and passion for the project and community shine through with this project and I thank you!! I hope Santa is very good to you this year!! I suspect there will be some people who did not follow-through with their commitment who will be very upset.

Thanks again for the hard work, effort and creativity!

Woo excited! I'm glad there was at least 1 slacker, since their negligence allowed me to sneak in and grab a kit. Thanks so much for doing this guys! I need to start posting here more often...
