Folk Fuzz Finishing Kit ???

Postby Donner » Tue Oct 21, 2008 12:55 pm

After some conversations there is a chance of a kit to 'finish' the Folk Fuzz kits for those that didnt want to hunt down all the parts ..........

maybe even to include a drilled donnerbox

would that be of interest ??

Depending on cost I think opening your operation back up to offer finished enclosures to commoners is a good idea since the only other companies offering finishes beyond PPP are just doing gaudy swirls. I've always liked your flame/quite top boxes and would definitely grab a few.

I don't really need the parts, but a box that looked better than my attempts at painting would be cool. If it came with parts I'd still probably be interested.

well thanks a bunch CS , I have noticed there doesnt seem to be much variety in the field at t he moment.....

but also looks like there isnt much interest either hmmmmmm but really I think the people who did but them did it with the DIY intent, so maybe Ill just do afew commemorative boxes and leave it at that...

Yep, I'd be interested in the finishing kit.

I'm totally crap at painting, and to be honest the cost of a box plus all the paints to do a nice job
puts me close to the price of a Lucibox, so I was looking at them as a possible way to go already.

If you do I would love to have one! Some sort of watery look would be super cool. Any of your machined-looking treatments would look great to me.

+1 here, I'd love to have a Donnerbox (or is it a Moonbox these days? ;)) on my Folk Fuzz, haven't checked the forum that much recently since I started at my new job. ...also why I haven't started building the FF either. But yeah, I'm def. in!

Right,
originally I didnt want them to look too close to an actuall BJF pedal with a Donnerbox , but it should be ok on a small basis, doesnt look like there would be 100 of them or anything

Ill come up with something when theres a head count number approximation.....
